Stuart Garner, the former boss of Norton Motorcycles, has admitted illegally using money from the company’s pension schemes to reinvest in the business.

Garner used an estimated £11 million of pension scheme cash and broke the law by investing more than 5% of assets from three pension schemes, of which he was the sole trustee.

After pleading guilty to three charges of breaching pension scheme regulations, 53-year old Garner will be sentenced on 28 February at Derby Crown Court.
