FIVA welcomes new member countries
The Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA) has expanded its membership with seven new member countries.
The new members are Iran, Macau, Montenegro, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. They join almost 80 countries representing FIVA’s pledge to protect, preserve and promote historic vehicles.
John Alcantara, FIVA’s vice president, said: ‘In many of these nations, there is already a large and vibrant community of historic vehicle enthusiasts, from whom existing FIVA members can learn – and with whom we can share ideas.’
FIVA is also looking to attract new memberships from Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
