GTO Engineering has added a new Spyder model to its Revival series of cars that reincarnate models from the 250 line-up.

The California Spyder Revival is, as the name suggests, an open-top model that can be ordered with GTO Engineering’s 3.0-, 3.5- or 4.0-litre V12 engines with a four- or five-speed manual gearbox.

It takes 1500 hours to build each California Spyder Revival and the price starts from £750,000-£850,000 depending on the donor car chosen for the customer’s build.

Mark Lyon, Founder and Managing Director of GTO Engineering, said: ‘It’s very exciting to be able to start talking about our latest addition to the Revival series: the California Spyder Revival. It is one of the most iconic Ferrari road cars from the 1960s and something we’ve worked hard over recent years to develop, following on from the success of the 250 SWB Revival and 250 TR Revival models. The feedback from both previous and new Revival-series customers is encouraging and we’re looking forward to work with more owners to create their dream car.’
