Westfield Sports Cars Ltd and Chesil Speedsters have been bought out of administration to form new company Westfield Chesil Ltd.

The new business has acquired the names, intellectual property and other assets of the previous firms to form Westfield Chesil Ltd.

Nigel Trilk confirmed the move and said: ‘'We are pleased to have been able to secure all the assets including the trade names, know-how and stock from the administrator.

‘Over the coming weeks we will be working with suppliers, customers, dealers and Westfield and Chesil owners’ groups to understand the best way to revitalise the famous brands. We will be recruiting experienced and loyal Westfield employees to make sure we have the earliest possible return to production, sales and customer support.

‘Westfield Chesil Ltd will continue to explore development of the iconic sports cars and further updates will be released in due course.’
