Bonhams closes MPH

The MPH arm of Bonhams is closing and the company will now focus more effort on the recently acquired The Market.

The move comes with immediate effect despite MPH hosting 12 auctions since its launch in 2019. It was set-up by Bonhams to concentrate on newer classics in the sub-£100,000 category.

Bonhams bought The Market in April 2019, which has proved very successful during the pandemic with its online auctions. The Market is also set to launch in the US with Caroline Cassini spearheading this move.
